Overview of the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) - A brief introduction to who we are, what we do and how we do it?

Nada Hanafi, MPH, MSc. is a Senior Science Health Advisor at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), Food and Drug Administration (FDA). She is responsible for leading the development, implementation and assessment of cross-Center and Agency policies and public health programs for the advancement of FDA's mission, including the Network of Experts and Health of Women (HoW) Program. Nada began her career with CDRH in 2004.

Prior to her current position, Nada was the Network Leader for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Breast Implants Network (2008-2011), and Lead Scientific Reviewer (2004-2008) and Breast Implant Team Leader (2006-2008) in the Office of Device EvaluationÂ’s Division of General, Restorative, and Neurological Devices (DGRND), in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Devices Branch (PRSB).

Nada holds a MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, an MSc in Biomaterials and a BEng in Biomedical Materials Science & Engineering from Queen Mary College, University of London.
