About the Presentation

Just as telemedicine is reshaping clinical care, it is poised to reshape clinical trials.  New technologies and tools including smartphones, wearable sensors and virtual visits are rapidly changing the way that information is collected in clinical trials.  Siteless clinical trials along with objective, sensitive, high frequency assessments gathered outside of research sites are emerging, but the regulatory framework for these tools is less certain.  This discussion will highlight these new advances and their application to clinical trials.
