Workshop Description

Distributed, efficient, embedded sensors are enabling advances in everything from on-demand precision medicine to consumer electronics. These sensor systems are becoming increasingly complex, requiring low power, small form factors, high sensitivity and selectivity, biocompatibility, and other features. There is a strong need for interactions between academic researchers and entrepreneurs, interested in advancing micro- and nanosystems for use in the field.

Speakers

Nobel Prize Winner, Dr. John Mather, NASA Goddard

Dr. Marc Christophersen, Naval Research Laboratory

Dr. Joseph Conroy, Army Research Laboratory

Professor Howard Katz, The Johns Hopkins University

Professor Dion Khodagholy, Columbia University

Dr. Anindya Nath, George Mason University

Benjamin Schreib, AECOM
