Workshop Description
Distributed, efficient, embedded sensors are enabling advances in everything from on-demand precision medicine to consumer electronics. These sensor systems are becoming increasingly complex, requiring low power, small form factors, high sensitivity and selectivity, biocompatibility, and other features. There is a strong need for interactions between academic researchers and entrepreneurs, interested in advancing micro- and nanosystems for use in the field.

Contributor Information
All attendees are encouraged to present at the workshop. Students will have the opportunity to submit a 1 page (text and figures) abstract for consideration for an oral presentation, due March 27th. Abstracts for poster presenters are 1 paragraph and are also due by March 27th. All oral presentation submissions will automatically be considered for poster presentations if an oral presentation is not awarded. There will be student poster prizes awarded at the conference. Non-students are also encouraged to submit contributions, although they are not be eligible for the poster prizes.
